Burglary - Ickenham Cricket Club - Can you help? |
A burglary has taken place at Ickenham Cricket Club, the entranceway of which is situated at the end of Oak Avenue, Ickenham, but other pedestrian access exists from the footpath that runs from Hoylake Crescent behind the grounds of the club, or from the footpath that leads out to the site of The Soldiers Return and other more distant roads. The burglary took place between 1930hrs yesterday, Sunday 23 August and 0845hrs this morning, Monday 24 August.
Two cricket bowling machines worth £2500 each were stolen. Given the size of the equipment it is almost certain that a vehicle of some description was used to remove the items. Action required please: If you live in Oak Avenue (the most obvious access point) or Hoylake Crescent (potential access point with vehicle parked on that road) please do take a moment to check your CCTV and video doorbell cameras for any vehicles that may have been involved. The police can easily rule out any local vehicles that are submitted. Even a blurred side view of a vehicle in the dead of night to and from the scene can give the police a focus on the time of the incident, which then leads to closer CCTV scrutiny nearby. Your local Ickenham NW team is working closely with the Ickenham Safer Neighbourhoods Team on this case, the crime number has not yet been notified so in the first instance please contact ickenhamnhw@gmail.com with any leads and the police will be updated. | ||
